For your viewing pleasure, I now present to you my second installment of my Grenada travel vlog.
The second half of my week we spent more time on Grand Anse beach (a walking distance from our AirBnB), and filmed a workout video (expect that to grace your timelines in a few weeks).
Kirsten and some of her friends also got to go scuba diving, since I am not certified yet I got to observe their excursion and sit on the boat. Trust me, getting to lay out on a boat for a few hours off the coast of this beautiful island was nothing to complain about.
The caption of our boat was super interesting too. We exchanged some travel tips on getting cheap airfare and he told me about his recent entrepreneurship venture. He has been traveling to the US to get certifications and he plans to start a company for sharpening tools and selling sewing supplies, craft supplies, and such. Just a cool side note, I love to hear about people’s plans and ideas.
On Friday (our last full day) a bite that Kirsten had gotten earlier in the week was looking infected and she wasn’t feeling good so we spent the entire morning (4 hours) waiting for her to see a doctor. Watch the vlog to hear about that VERY interesting experience haha.
Some more bonus info about our AirBNB: Many of the roads and buildings on the island do not have formal names or markings on maps or GPS. Our Airbnb was located on a very very steep hill filled with other houses. This hill was referred to simply as “Golf Course” and our house was “near the bar by the resort”. It is definitely an interesting lifestyle on the island where things are fast paced and seem to have an unspoken language of themselves.
Comment or feel free to message me with any questions about this trip! I love getting in touch.
