Brown, Tan, Beige…Monochrome

We have all seen groufits (all grey) and nearly every other color done, but something about pairing pieces that resemble dirt was a fashion challenge for me.

The two biggest pieces of advice when wearing any monochromatic look, especially shades of brown, is to vary texture and layer, layer, layer. (You might have known my key rules if you follow my Instagram)

I paired my sparkly champagne colored socks with suede mules. Pairing fun socks with a shoe like this makes them seasonably appropriate due to their neutral color scheme.

I started my layering experience with a cotton blend button down dress, a staple piece I strongly advise you invest in. Mine is from H&M! I then layered a leather vest over the dress, which definitely leans towards an orangey tone. The vest breaks up the similar color tones of my jacket and dress while also making an interesting line for the eye to follow. To finish the look off and pick up the texture of my mules I wore a suede Ralph Lauren jacket.

I finished the look off with my favorite pair of bug eye glasses from Target.

What do you think of this all brown look? Yes or no? Drop me a comment below!!!

With love,

Anna B

I love the colors and the look. Not great ones for me, but the orange and tan work wonderfully together!
