On Saturday, the Greater NYC area ex-perienced the most wonderfully beautiful gift of a sweet warm spell. I took complete advantage of this uncharacteristic weather by suiting up in a long, semi sheer white maxie skirt. The reason I adore this skirt is because of the form fitting black belted waist with the lace up corset detailing. It’s super flattering not to mention completely on trend. To give the flowy skirt some shape, I gather the bottom and tie it into a casual knot which enhances the bohemian vibes.
For my shirt I layered an American Eagle, red, star adorned bralette under a black lace crop top with quarter length sleeves and a scalloped hem. I finished the look off with a light weight vegan leather jacket (not pictured)!
On my head I covered my messy hair with an adorable red knit beanie hat complete with an oversized dramatic pom pom. Meanwhile, I slipped my feet into my favored copper penny colored platform oxfords.
Of course, a girl on the go has got to have her coffee in hand! I loved how my travel mug from Starbucks perfectly matched the red of my bralette and my red hat. I’ll be blogging about the significance of the color red later this week, so get excited for that! The warm weather was accompanied by rays of sunshine giving me the opportunity to wear my cat eye sunglasses!
